She began her career as a psychiatric nurse, working in both adult and children’s services. As a family therapist, she has served various inner London Local Authorities, addressing diverse forms of domestic abuse and assisting both families and professionals in devising effective safety plans. Currently, in her private practice, Maria works closely with families and individuals to tackle the challenges that bring them to therapy. Passionate about giving voice to the voiceless, she believes that every story is powerful—and that being heard is a vital step toward empowerment and healing.
